Nanoemulsion concept to improve bioinsecticide using citronella grass distillation waste and Spiked pepper

Abstract Nanoemulsion of S. pepper could control cabbage pests but optimization is needed for the composition because low toxicity. The purpose this research was to optimized nanoemulsion using citronella waste that increases stability and reduces size particle. insecticidal activity tested leaves residual method. experimental design used a completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted five concentration 0.10%, 0.16%, 0.27%, 0.45%, 0.74% with replications. quality nanoparticles PSA Zetasizer Nano ZS Malvern tools. results show formula classified as it has 104.2 nm. particle smaller than in previous only one extract. LC50 0.41 LC95 1,88. Based on toxicity test can 81,33% C. pavonana highest be controlled 40.00 %.
